We're very particular about our printing methods here at Disko Kids.
Here is a bit about where we print, why we choose screen printing for almost all of our designs and how you can care for your printed tees & sweatshirts.
Why we choose screen printing...
We choose screen printing for our Tshirts & Sweatshirts because it not only gives the designs a high quality finish, but it is the longest lasting form of print, made to stand up to plenty of wear and washing.
Our screen printer (scroll to read more about him!) uses specialist mesh screens and spot colour inks to achieve the best finish possible.
We want every customer to love wearing their Disko design for years to come.
Where we print....
When we say 'locally printed' on our product listings, we really mean it.
Our printer, Tom, is a about a mile down the road from us in Birmingham. He started his business around the same time Helen started Disko Kids and we have grown together over the years.
Tom just gets what we want, from the perfect positioning, to understanding the colours we need. This relationship is so important and allows us to give the best to our customers.
For more colourful or detailed designs, Tom also prints digitally for us. This allows us to keep all the details of the design, while ensuring the print stays soft & lightweight.
Looking after your printed clothing...
We want your Disko tees and sweatshirts to be worn on repeat for many years. (Helen has some from over 10 years ago that are still in amazing condition!) So please follow these care instructions to keep it looking it's best for as long as possible.
