Women In Music + Queens Of The Decks

March the 8th every year is 'International Women's Day', a global holiday to commemorate the cultural, political and socioeconomic achievements of women, and we love to celebrate it here as Disko Kids.

Each year we release our design on a limited print run. The design features many of the greatest female recording artists from the last few decades. This year we have also decided to spotlight the pioneering female DJs who have broken down barriers to succeed in the field, our 'Queens Of The Decks 'design will be released mid February.

This year we are releasing 3 new variants of our Women In Music design on an electric blue sweatshirt, a black t-shirt with a silver print and a white new style of t-shirt with pink print.

For our new Queens of the Decks design we have a lilac sweatshirt along with a white and black t-shirt.

Celebrating all the brilliant DJ's out there who happen to be female. There are no doubt more who aren't on this list but lets champion these women and make sure the next generation of DJ's see these women and think I want to do that too.

We are also excited to be supporting the charity Women's Aid, who do amazing work to support and empower women across the world. With £4 from the sale of every Women In Music / Queens Of The Decks Sweatshirt and £3 from every Women In Music/ Queens Of The Decks t-shirt - going directly to the charity, we really feel that this is an important and necessary cause.
