This week on the blog Keira O'mara ( Scott-Samuel ) sharing her picks to style with the vintage white 1972 Sweatshirt, 'Love is' & Ziggy Eyes T-shirts.

We asked her a few questions about her style loves and the all important question party in or out?

Describe your style ?

A real mix depending on my mood and ever evolving! I would not say I have one style. I tend to veer towards casual more than dressed up although I do love dressing up. My wardrobe is a mix of vintage, independent brands, and high street with the odd designer piece.

Who are some of your favourite brands ?

Independent brands I love are LOWIE, Project AJ117,

Zara, Cos, Whistles and H&M for High Street. Lindex is great for Scandi style at high street prices and they are really sustainable.

Please tell us 3 things about you? oooh....

1. I am originally from Liverpool and went to the same primary and secondary school as John Lennon!

2.I did a season in Ibiza 25 years ago and had various jobs, including being a dancer at Manumission!

3. I started sharing my outfit pics on Instagram less than a year ago and loved it so much that it led to me launching a new business around it. www.scott-samuel.co.uk

What music do you listen to? I used to go clubbing in my late teens and twenties and still love a lot of the 90's club classics., they make great exercise tunes for kitchen HIIT! 70's disco is definitely the most listened to in our house now though.

Who were your fashion heroes when you were a kid? I loved Martika's haircut and took a picture of her to the hairdressers to copy her hair! Fashion-wise got to be Madonna, style icon!

Party Out or party at home? Both!! I do like a party at home with friends but the last few years (and having a toddler) I definitely don't get out as much so I am going to say party out!

I have styled the 1972 sweatshirt and it seemed only fitting to go full on 70’s style for this with flares, big sunglasses, a head scarf and clogs. The brown twill flares from H&M are a fab shape and come in loads of different colours and they are a bargain at £12.99. They are on the longish side for me at 5 ft 5.5 so I have paired with my clogs to give me a bit of height. Wearing with my embroidered flower socks.  Brown leather belt, head scarf, sunglasses, leather bucket bag and gold jewellery all from Scott-Samuel.

Next up is the LOVE T and I could not decide so here it is styled a couple of different ways…

I love it with leather trousers, so the three looks revolve around that (mine are Lindex).  First up with an oversized blazer. Mine was preloved on EBay but there are loads on the high street at the moment. Check out Zara and H&M for some good options. I have added a metallic clutch (this one is from Scott-Samuel), big earrings and big glasses. I love this for a night out with boots or heels but it looks great with trainers too.  The other look is more definitely more casual…. Am I too early to say “festival ready” and I have gone for an military style shirt (mine is old and was bought in Italy)

River Island have this similar army shacket.

The orange leather bumbag gives a pop of colour and I’ve styled with gold earrings, necklace and bracelets.

Finally the Bowie T which is a gorgeous blue/grey, so I have styled with a fabulous grey tulle skirt from Law & Co (they have a great selection of tulle skirts), a leather biker jacket and a pink clutch. Apparently biker jackets are going to be everywhere this year. I didn’t know they had ever gone away! I have worn mine for the last 10+ years and consider it a staple part of my wardrobe. This is actually an upgrade to my trusty biker and I got it on EBay, so if you are looking for a biker jacket I highly recommend looking at pre loved styles as you will get a lot more for your money. This is a Whistles one, All Saints are also always good. My glasses are the oversized square retro from Scott-Samuel. This outfit I am wearing with trainers but it works with chunky boots, flats, heels, sandals….

Now I just need a party invite! xx
