What was the first record / CD  you ever bought?

Heart of Glass by Blondie

What was the first gig you went to?

OMD at Bristol Colston Hall

Party out or Kitchen Disco!

Kitchen Disco.....the only place you can truly let loose!! 🤣 I still love nothing more than having a little kitchen rave to Radio 1's Dance Anthems on a Friday and Saturday night!

Talk us through your mixtape -  What’s each track / artist and why its on your Mixtape.

Track 1   Your Love - Prodigy.

I’m a rave junkie and I make no excuses! This tune literally does make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up to this day!

Track 2   Far out by Sonz of a Loop da Loop Era

Just the happiest of all tunes! My first experience of a rave was an illegal travellers one in Oxford....just a big old marquee in the middle of a field. I was hooked after that first experience and used to travel far and wide going to illegal and organised ones. Remember Castle Morton.....I was there!

Track 3   Pennies from Heaven - Inner City

I did eventually hang up my raving whistle and I started going to clubs. Lakota in Bristol was my local but I regularly used to travel to Bond's in Birmingham for Miss Moneypenny's nights.

Track 4   Don’t Go - The Awesome 3

It’s still current! 🙌 A lot of these tunes remind me of a summer well spent in Ibiza (1994)

Track 5  You girls look so sexy - Nush

The next few tracks should always be dance too like nobody is watching you!

Track 6  Passion - Gat Decor

More of the same!

Track 7  Waterfall - Atlantic Ocean

More of the same!

Track 8   The Real Thing - U2

This tune holds such memories for me......dancing on the terrace at Space in Ibiza with the planes going over on a Sunday morning.

Track 9  Dream Lover - Mariah Carey

Same again with this one!

 Track 10  Rapture - Blondie

Debbie Harry is such an icon. A heart of glass might of been my first record purchase but this tune was by far Blondie’s best record in my humble opinion. Another tune that gives me goosebumps!
